Somali & Kenyan military commanders discussed the war against Alshabaab


The commander of the country’s armed forces, General Odawaa Yusuf Rage, met in Mogadishu with his Kenyan counterpart, General Robert Kariuki, who arrived in Mogadishu today.

The two Commanders discussed the cooperation and collaboration between the two sides and strengthening the fight against Al-Shabaab groups which are a problem for the security of both countries.

The commander of the Kenyan defense forces, General Robert Kariuki, praised the Somali military command for the operation to eliminate the al-Shabaab in the country, promising that the Kenyan army, which is part of ATMIS, will play a major role in the elimination of the group.

General Odawaa Yusuf Raage thanked Kenya for its role in the operation to liberate the Khawarij from the country.
